KIMBO KO'D! Late Replacement Petruzelli Seizes Opportunity

Seth Petruzelli shocked the MMA world and the thousands packed into the BankAtlantic Center when he knocked out hometown hero and cult phenom Kimbo Slice. Petruzelli took the fight on short notice when an injured Ken Shamrock had to pull out of the fight on Saturday evening. This marks Kimbo's first defeat as a professional mixed martial artist.

EliteXC welterweight champ Jake Shields pounded British champion Paul Daley from full mount for nearly two rounds. In the second, Shields applied a text book armbar out of the mount, forcing "Semtex" to tap. Shields made the first successful defense of his title and notched his 11th consecutive win.

One of the top-ranked heavies in the world, Andrei Arlovski dropped Roy "Big Country" Nelson with a beautiful uppercut--overhand right combination and KO'd the big man with a thud.

Gina Carano won a thrilling 3-round decision against tough challenger Kelly Kobold. Carano dominated the bout with her superior striking and nearly put Kobold out at the end of the 3rd.

And Benji Radach dropped a couple of big hammerfists on "Ninja" Rua to KO the Brazilian in the second round.
